I won't buy it, even it is much cheaper (about 30€ is adequate).
Today I have been in Graz, in Media Markt... I couldn't find the Kane Edition after some minutes, but then I saw it. It was much more expensive, it costed 60€, the normal game just 50€...

I bought it from Saturn, also 49€.

The nice thing was I bought it after school, the Saturn marke is in the Train station. Just perfect

Yesterday I was went to one of the "Müller" shops. Actually I couldn't belive what I've seen. The Kane Edition. 57€!

And god damn , I hate my PC, it is too worse for games like C&C 3 or Stalker...
I need a whole new PC but for this I need money...

I remember this ad inside an old "c't", which read "In 2007, mandarin will be the language of the web" - but I do know only one person who's learning this extremely difficult language.
I know a lot of japanese fans, though. All the Anime and RPG stuff :[

Mandarin isn't japanese, it's chinese.
You know, the semi-bad asians, the one with the communism which allows foreign money.
However, I guess The Year of the Almighty Dragon is still ahead, the Chinese Empire will rise again and take over the whole world, so be aware.
Nah, just kiddin', but a little bit paranoia is never wrong.

But well, it's always good to learn something new like a unknown language, 'cause knowledge reigns supreme over nearly everyone.

Well, I know that. And I didn't typed it in that way, but after reading my previous posting again, I think it was a bit misunderstoodable. Let me rephrase this:
I do know only one person who's learning chinese (mandarin). But I know a lot of other people who learn the second big asian language - japanese.
Hope that will make my first post clear

No, I prefer RPG like "Be a mighty axeman, kill this, burn that and steal the princess"..
But I don't play that much RPG because the intelligence of the players are equal to open CS Servers - nothing but swears and bad words.
I wonder why CS has such a bad reputation...

Anyway, actually I did not know that such a thread existed/exists in this forum. You would´t believe me, but some days ago I just wondered whether I should start a thread like this or not.

To be quite honest, I have nothing reasonable to add. But it´s good practise in any case i thought.

What do you think of reading English books? As far as I´m concerned I sometimes like it very much. Especially when I could read HP 7 some half a year before the others (who read it in german) did.

A lot of books I'm interessted in are only available in english:
For example, this book is one od the best books I've ever read. It's realistic, dramatic and moving: "Warthog - flying the A-10 in the Gulf War. Or you choose "Thud Ridge", a book about F-105 operations in Vietnam, told by a pilot. It is not as good as the first, but after reading both, you can clearly see how the air war has evolved during the decades. My third book about war birds is "Vipers in the Storm", a diary of an F-16 fighter pilot over the iraqi desert 1991.
But this is somehow boring...and for me, it's too personal. There are certainly five or six pages that are letters to his wife...

Other english books include the history of the Chevrolet Impala 1958 - 2000 and the Chevrolet Camaro from 1967 - 2002. But I have no clue where the last mentioned book is...*???*

Japanese I think is also a lot more interesting than Chinese, at least in my opinion.
If you care about import console games than it is almost necessary.

Got to agree with that.
Most of these japanese origin games are sort of over-the-top.
With too much fancy-gay stuff and all that.
I rather go with good ol' AD&D or The Elder Scroll series.

Exactly and you avoid stupid translation mistakes.
If there is an option, I would always stick with the original issue.
Just like I do with Hägar the Horrible.
Usually some jokes doesn't work if they get transfered.
