It's a good idea to reanimate this topic, because English isn't a well-used language in this forum. Some of us have to learn a bit more English, and with this thread it could be possible (I know that I just talk shit here XD)
But it's almost right. A bit of speaking English is not the worst thing that anybody can do

What "Steam" do you mean? That programm by Valve which you have to use for playing CounterStrike and so on? Or do you mean steam like used in power plants? I'd like the second one much more. What do you guys out there think?

I would actually like to go to the United States (eg California) or England during my study. So I can experience a new culture and foreign people. Moreover I will improve my English.

I was in London once in 2005. It was the last trip organized by my school and it was just awesome. The atmosphere was great and the week couldn't have been chosen better: It started with Live 8 on the first evening and ended up in a chaotic and scaring way with the last day when some stupid terrorists thought they had to convince everyone about the superiority of Islam.

London itself is quite interesting as well, especially the diversity within the city. On the one hand there are the sights like Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the old architecture you know from movies playing in that time and on the other hand there are the new buildings like the City Hall which remind one of New York with an architecture all of glass and steel.
Unfortunately there are also some down-run quarters like Brixton (the Carrabean quarter) where you can smell the dope as soon as you leave the tube.

i haven`t been in a Country like the USA or Great Britain. I like to go to the USA, exspecially to Illinois or California, because in Illinois i have some person i know, the uncle of my mum is there, and we sometimes wirte Letters. In California is a friend of my mum, she comes every year to Germany and we want to come to her one day, too ...

But i more want to australia, my school and a girls-school in Australia are Exchange-Partners every year, some girls of my class are there at the moment. I know some of the Australien girls and i want to visit them after i finished school
